With a Series 65 designation and insurance licenses in all 50 states, Angela specializes in retirement planning and holistic wealth management, helping clients balance risk and long-term growth. For over two decades, Angela Tarkenton Barbour has served in the financial industry as an Executive Vice President at Tarkenton Financial, LLC, and she is now entering her tenth year as an Investment Advisor Representative.

Angela began her career at Tarkenton Financial working alongside her family before taking the lead from 2007 to 2009. She then co-led the company with her brother, Matt, until 2015, when her passion for client-focused planning led her to transition into working directly with individuals. The following year, she earned her Series 65 and wrote her first policies. Recognizing a gap in the industry for true holistic planning, she made it her mission to bridge that gap and provide comprehensive financial solutions.

Now based in Alexandria, VA, Angela has spent the last eight years serving clients in the Washington, DC, and Alexandria, VA, area. She has developed a strong expertise in working with federal employees, helping them navigate the complexities of their benefits and retirement options. As both an advisor and co-owner of Tarkenton Financial, she has a unique perspective, staying ahead of industry trends while ensuring her clients receive the best strategies available.
